(ROCKDALE)–ROCKDALE POLICE AND THE TEXAS

RANGERS CONTINUE THEIR INVESTIGATION INTO HUMAN

REMAINS THAT WERE FOUND IN ROCKDALE LATE LAST

WEEK. POLICE ARE STILL WORKING TO DETERMINE THE

IDENTITY OF THE PERSON AND HOW THEY DIED. ROCKDALE

POLICE CHIEF THOMAS HARRIS SAID THIS WEEKEND THAT

FURTHER TESTS ARE ONGOING AFTER A SKULL AND FEMUR

BONE WERE FOUND BY A RESIDENT’S DOG NEAR THE CITY

LIMITS ON F-M 908 SOUTHEAST OF ROCKDALE.

(ROCKDALE)–THE ROCKDALE TIGER FOOTBALL TEAM

IS ON ITS WAY TO THE STATE SEMIFINALS FOR THE FIRST

TIME SINCE 1976. THE TIGERS DEFEATED TEAGUE IN THE

CLASS 3-A DIVISION ONE STATE QUARTERFINALS 42 TO 20

AT WACO I-S-D STADIUM FRIDAY NIGHT. THE TIGERS

FACE YOAKUM FRIDAY AT 7 PM AT THE BERRY CENTER

IN CYPRESS. KRXT WILL HAVE ALL THE ACTION LIVE.

(UNDATED)–THE WILLIAMSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S

OFFICE SAID ONE MAN IS DEAD AFTER A LIFT JACK

FAILED AND A VEHICLE FELL ON HIM. HE WAS WORKING

ON REPAIRS WHEN THE VEHICLE FELL. THE CASE IS

UNDER INVESTIGATION.
