The Milam County Health Department will hold 3 Flu Clinics this month: Tuesday, October 23rd from 11 am -1 pm at the Milano Senior Center, Thursday, October 25th from 9 am – 11 am at Thorndale Senior Center, and Friday, October 26th from 9 am-11 am at the Davilla Senior Center. The vaccine will be given at no cost to those with Medicare Part B, but you must present your card. All others will be charged $30 Cash or Check.
Milano ISD will be having their One Act Play performance Wednesday, October 24th at 7 pm. There will also be a silent auction.
A spaghetti supper benefiting the Granger Lions Club community projects which include eye glasses for needy children, Granger food pantry, and also in support for the Granger 4-H and FFA projects will be held on October 23rd at the SSCM recreation center in Granger. Serving will be 5 pm. to 8 pm. Price is $5.00 which includes a drink.

The Cameron Chamber of Commerce will host a Trunk or Treat in the Downtown Square in Cameron on Wednesday, October 31st from 6 pm -7 pm. Members may decorate their vehicles trunk or tailgate, load it up with candy to hand out to the children. The chamber asks that you have a sign for your business or organization and have name tags for the individuals handing out candy. All candy must be wrapped and sealed. There will be a Best Decorated Trunk and Best Costume Contest that evening in the square. Categories for Best Costume are: Children 0-3, 4-6, 7-10, and 12 & up; Best Group Costumes 3 or more, and Best Trunk will be awarded a plaque.
